Dalek – one of the ‘cyborgs’ of the Dr Who universe. There’s a lot in Dr Who about identity; about a person being more than a fixed physical point in time and space. It’s one of those narratives that has enormous scope for probing issues of the human psyche with the backdrop of fantasy and adventure.
